Divine and Decadent… this Jean Harlow silk chiffon dress from my favorite vintage boutiques : The Frock is simply sublime. There is just something so magical about the fashion of the 1920′s and 1930′s.

One of my favorite old films is The Gold Diggers of 1933. I love watching the costumes, choreography and set design of an era long gone by. The ladies look so glamorous with their perfect pin-curls and lined lashes.

The direction, cinematography and production design of the musicals of the 1930′s & 40′s is truly astounding. If you are a lover of old Hollywood, take a moment and Enjoy!

If I were a music video….

It is all things sparkly, glittery and gold. Beth Ditto looks like a character out of Labyrinth and I love it. Besides being a killer song {produced by Rick Rubin} the video captures the essence of the power and mystique of Beth’s vocals perfectly. My only complaint? WHY isn’t the director listed? Even with a google search it’s nearly impossible to find out who created this Solid Gold masterpiece. If you know who the director is…. please share!
