What an absolute joy it was to film the enchanted wedding of Isabelle and Daniel…

A magical weekend at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, Ca orchestrated by the infamously talented {and incredibly loving + humble} Mindy Weiss. Isabelle is a girl after my own heart… she has a love for all things beautiful, romantic, enchanted and girly.

Being able to film this magical event alongside superstar photographer Elizabeth Messina we found ourselves giggling together with delight throughout the weekend as we captured all the wonderful textures and details that Belle had in store for us. From vintage style hair pieces from Leah C. to the Alice in Wonderland “Clock” cufflinks she gave her groom {see the film above!} this was a wedding like no other for a couple whose love is truly a romantic fairytale.

Filmed on both 16mm film and High Definition video enjoy the beauty of classic vintage film mixed with modern crisp cinematic picture. This is true bliss*…

Megan and Steve had a beautiful wedding at Solage in Calistoga which was crafted by the super talented team at Map Events and photographed by one of our fave’s Meg Smith.

Megan’s wedding was featured in Martha Stewart Weddings this past spring. You can check out the Super 8mm intro for her wedding film that we created above. Super 8mm is the perfect compliment for couples that love texture and nostalgia, especially for brides wanting an organic homespun or vintage feel. What an honor it was to capture such a special day for them. Enjoy!

Earlier this year we had the pleasure of shooting a “behind-the-scenes” photoshoot for Modern Bride Magazine featuring the luscious work of Sasha Souza Events.

Sasha really knows how to nail the glamour rustic look. The color combinations at this shoot were mouth watering. Plums and cantaloupes…. old wooden barrels with crystals… yum! yum! YUM! So decadent yet inviting and personal.

On the shoot we joked that we should find a couple that wanted to get hitched that day and just have them do it once we wrapped shooting. After seeing the photos and video… it’s no surprise why. The look and feel is so timeless…. Enjoy!
